A pharmaceutical company wants to test the effectiveness of an experimental sleeping pill. An experiment is conducted over two nights, with 10 volunteers who have difficulties sleeping at night. On the first night, each of the ten persons is given the sleeping pill one hour before bedtime and the time needed to fall asleep is recorded. On the second night, the same persons are given a placebo in the form of a pill that looks exactly as the real one (without being told about it) and the time needed to fall asleep is again recorded. The times needed to fall asleep are assumed to follow a normal distribution. The results for the two nights for the ten volunteers are shown below:

Stanford Binet IQ scores have a mean of 100 and a standard deviation of 15. Albert Einstein reportedly had an IQ of 160. Convert Einstein's IQ score to a z score.
Assume that the measurements came from a normal distribution. The variability of the manufacturing process is unknown means the same as the standard deviation is unknown.
Consider a four digit uniform random number generator; as in each of the 10,000 values 0.0000 through 9999 is equally likely. Find the mean and variance of the values produced by such a random number generator.
Does this result support original claim, or is population percentage considerably less than 45%. Use alpha=.05 for level of significance.
