Question: The workplace is a great leveler. You may come from a poor family or have limited resources. Your home life many be difficult for many reasons. But when you come to the office, or factory, or any place of business, everyone is in the same situation. The workplace is also a way to set group norms, expectations, and build a company culture.

I worry that to at least some degree the shift to remote presents a different challenge depending on personal circumstances and socio-economic means. If you have a room for a dedicated office, with a solid internet connection, and quiet, you may find the remote experience to be great. On the other hand, if you don't, you may be at a big disadvantage in a remote work setting. Thoughts?
