Mr Green owns ABC Music, which is a shop that sells music CD's to customers. Currently sales data is stored using a paper based system and Mr Green is running out of room to store ABC's sales records. Mr Green has approached you to find a solution to his storage dilemma. Mr Green also has a few other requests as follows: ABC Music runs a favored customer scheme called ABC Music Lovers, Mr Green sends Music Lovers members information about special offers and other discounts to Music Lovers members via post. Mr Green is also interested in analyzing customer demographics such as (view) customer sales by any state chosen by him or his staff and he would also like to view and print customer sales by age group, which he and his staff must be able to select. Mr Green wishes to be able to view and print how many CD's each customer has purchased the average sales and cost price of CD's sold to each customer as well as the total profit generated by each customer. Mr Green employs high school aged teenagers as his store assistant work force who have limited IT knowledge, so Mr Green would like any solution to be easy to use and understand. Mr Green wishes to be able to view the total number of CD's sold in the store and the total profit generated by ABC music. When customers order special items Mr Green contacts customers via e-mail or phone to inform them that their order has arrived. The owner Mr Green requires the ability to add new data, edit and delete existing data to and from the system. However he wishes that his staff can read and add data but not edit existing data.
