We are fortunate enough to live in a time that has fast-growing technology. In the health industry technology is used for compliance as well as many other purposes. One way that technology is used for compliance is through communication. Information and Communication Technologies (ICT) prevent further outbreaks by combatting the spread of this deadly virus. For example, the virus Ebola formed in Lagos (a major transportation hub) in July 2014. By collecting and sharing data, ICT helped prevent the virus from becoming a major epidemic. Another way ICT was used was to develop policies to prevent further outbreaks. The policies themselves helped health workers to have access to training quickly on treatment plans and provide a safe work environment (Qureshi., 2016).

Besides using ICT for extreme cases like a virus, it can also be used for everyday life such as nutrition education for healthcare workers. Access to ICT promotes healthcare workers to have evidence-based information that can better serve their community. Thomas and Uwandu (2019) say "If there is an in-house policy that supports the use of ICTs, the level of their deployment for nutrition education will be high". Nutrition guidance is of major importance among healthcare professionals. By adopting ICT knowledge as a mandate, healthcare professionals gain the ability to comply with health service delivery regarding malnutrition.
