Epistasis means that the expression of a gene is affected by another gene. An example is albinism. Melanin production is controlled by one set of genes; these determine how much of which type of melanin is produced. A second gene influences whether melanin can be produced at all. This pigment production gene has two alleles - normal pigment production (A) is dominant to no pigment production (a).

In cattle, red color dominates black. An albino bull that is heterozygous for red color is crossed with a red cow. The cow is heterozygous for both albinism and red color. What are the possible phenotypes of their offspring and in what ratio?
