I studied my expertise by obtaining Certificates III and IV in Community Services in Australia, enriching my knowledge of community-based health initiatives. During the COVID-19 pandemic, I worked as a personal care worker at Ruby Manor for almost two years, gaining hands-on experience in patient care. I am currently a personal care assistant at Holy Spirit Croydon, where I continue to develop my caregiving skills. At that time when my visa is expiring, the pandemic hit making the border closed. i opted to apply for covid visa at that time and stayed in australia. i worked as a personal care worker at ruby manor and holy spirit as personal care assistant. the lockdowns and restrictions allowed me to experience first hand the impact of COVID on families, elderly living in nursing homes. as i reflect on the gap in my post diploma education, i am eager to resume my academic pursuit so i decided to enrolled in Leisure and Health at CCMT College while waiting for my partner become PR.
