The molar enthalpy of fusion of ice at 0 Celcius is 6.02 kJ/mol; the molar heat capacity of supercooled water is 75.3 J/(mol-K). (a) One mole of supercooled water at -10 Celcius is induced to crystallize in a heat-insulated vessel. The result is a mixture of ice and water at 0 Celcius.
