You are the Human Resources Director for a local school system. There are three situations on your desk requiring your immediate attention.
1. An elementary teacher has been told by his school principal that he is not allowed to wear an earring, while female staff are allowed to wear earrings. The principal has publicly stated in staff meetings that men wearing earrings is not in keeping with professional attire in his book.
2. A High school math teacher, who is also the school's head basketball coach is requesting 12 weeks of leave under FMLA to assist his wife with their newborn baby. The math teacher is the only teacher who is certified and currently teaching two classes of advanced calculus and trigonometry.
3. A cafeteria worker who is the serving line cashier has requested to be allowed to use a stool to ring up lunch purchases due to complications of swelling ankles from standing for two hours during the scheduled lunch period. The cafeteria worker's duties also include helping with clean-up of tables, trash, and dishes after the lunch period and prepping for the next day's menu.
For each of the three scenarios listed above, you are to create a written summary based on the following:

2. Explain in detail the appropriate remedy for resolving the issue based on the law.
