The CaCl2 is purchased in the hydrated form; it contains one mole of water for each mole of compound, NaCO3 * H2O, and had a formula weight of 124.01 g/mol. To prepare 100 mL of a 0.500 M solution of this hydrated form requires 0.0500 moles of the salt. Calculate the grams of this compound that equals 0.0500 moles, showing all your calculations.
