An employee with 13 years of experience has failed to report to work for the third day in a row. They are not ill as photo on Facebook show the employee enjoying there newly purchased lake side cottage. This behaviour has been observed in the past with the employee, in fact this is the 5th time the employee has done this. The organization has a clearly defined progressive discipline policy, and this employee, in particular is very familiar with it. The employee was suspended without pay for 20 working days just last year for similar behaviour. The Director and HR Advisor are now poised to take the final disciplinary action with regards to this employee.
