The warranty on the tires is presently set at 47,500 miles. The z-test statistic result was 1.43. The manufacturer wanted to determine if the tires were exceeding the guarantee. At the .05 significant level, it was concluded that the tires are exceeding the manufacturer's guarantee.
Calculate the standard deviation of the number of available rooms in that sample. Construct a frequency distribution of the sample mean, and plot a histogram of this distribution.
That's a much larger sample than standard sample surveys. In spite of this, we can't trust the result to give good information about any clearly defined population. Why?
