Please explain why [Fe(CN)6]3- shows a charge-transfer absorption in the visible region of the spectrum and another in the ultraviolet region, while [Fe(CN)6]4- shows only a charge-transfer

absorption in the ultraviolet region.

I know one of Fe is +3 and d^5 etc. but I don't understand what system makes their different regions.

please explain about it. and if there is pattern I can use for other metal, please explain it.
