- Prepare a 12 week induction programme in table format, for a new HR Administrator. Describe everything they need to learn, know and do, and which roles, teams and functions they need to meet, in order to be effective. In doing so you should include the following:

- The first week should be broken down into days

- 2 activities in every time period

- Show how progress will be monitored. Each activity must include a method of assessment, who will assess it and when.

Part B. (750 words)

Your Executive Directors are proposing to reduce the size of the HR department, or even close the function completely.

Write a short report to the Executive Directors that supports the retention of the HR function within the organisation, and explains:

- 3 ways HR activities support the organisation and enable it to meet its goals and business objectives

- 3 ways HR professionals support line managers

- 3 ways HR professionals support staff.

Part C. (900 words)

Write a report that:

- Identifies 3 users of HR services internal to your organisation and for each of them at least 2 key needs

- Explains how HR/L&D can ensure the needs of these 3 service users are prioritised effectively

- Identifies 3 methods of communication to your service users and explain the advantages and disadvantages of each

- Describes the key components of effective service delivery including building and maintaining good relationships, handling and resolving complaints, dealing with difficult customers, timely service delivery, budget implications and continuous improvement.
