Anthony, aged eighteen (18), is currently a student in a junior college waiting to sit for his GCE "A" Level examinations. Whenever Anthony thinks about the upcoming GCE "A" Level examinations, he begins to feel very anxious and he will have difficulty sleeping. In addition, Anthony is also the Chairman of the Community Service Society in his school. As he begins to pass over his duties and responsibilities to the new Chairman, he becomes very agitated and would lose his tempereasily by having verbal outbursts whenever the new Chairman cannot make it for meetings.

Suppose Anthony comes to see you for counselling and your preferred theoretical orientation is Rational-Emotive Behaviour Therapy (REBT):

a. Apply the A-B-C Framework from REBT to explain Anthony's emotional and behavioural symptoms in your case formulation.

b. Develop generic and specific goals you would like to work with Anthony.

c. Apply TWO (2) cognitive techniques and TWO (2) emotive techniques to help Anthony manage his emotional and behavioural symptoms.
