Julie is an 18-year-old female who has arrived at the drop-in centre requesting help.

Julie is from a non-English speaking background.

While she speaks English fluently she finds some words difficult to understand, especially when someone is speaking to her quickly. She explains to you that she has been experiencing panic attacks, excessive worrying and seems to obsessive over things that she once found easy to do.

She is in her final year at school and is struggling to complete her school work or hand in assignments as the thought of beginning these seems to 'paralyse' her. Her grades are dropping dramatically which is causing friction at home.

She discloses that she finds herself picking at her skin to the point that she has made herself bleed. Julie knows that something isn't quite right but doesn't know what to do.
