FIRST

The first expectation I have is clear communication through out the team. I believe communication should be constant throughout so that one person doesn't feel like they need to chase their team to get answers. I also think clear communication is important in order to achieve good marks. My expectation is that there are check ins a couple times a week and that everyone contributes while giving feedback. I also believe your team should have reasoning as to why you weren't able to complete something on time or why you didn't check in.

My second expectation is that the work is fairly distributed throughout the group. I believe that while working in teams it is not fair for others to coast and get the same credit as those who worked really hard throughout the project. In saying that I believe when dividing the work people should get the work that plays to their strengths so the team sees the most success.

My third expectation is when a conflict arises team members should not take sides. I expect the team will hear everyones side of the story and we will collaborate and come to a solution or compromise. I don't think a disagreement should cause a rift in the team.

SECOND

Open-mindedness is an expectation I have for us because I would prefer if our group could accept or at least understand how someone else may feel a different way about a certain subject. I think it is important as a group to be able to work with each other even if we disagree on certain ideas.

Communication is very important in a group since it is what connects all of us. Being able to communicate clearly with one another will only improve our efficiency and the quality of our work if we are on the same page. Any updates or feedback ties into this expectation and can really make our work that much better.

Accountability is one of my expectations because being able to own up to mistakes can make things go a lot easier. Instead of trying to figure out who did something or why it happened, we can just move on and try to fix the issue. It also means we have to meet deadlines on time and make it to the planned meetings.
