Excessive/Unreasonable Compensation.

Donald and Eric Trump will be the new owners of many businesses and have come to you for advise. They are investigating whether they should incorporate the Trump business ventures but are first concerned that the IRS may deem their salaries “unreasonable compensation” if they do. Prepare a memoorandum to the Trumps explaining the factors the IRS uses in determining whether salaries are unreasonable and whether their salaries may indeed be deemed unreasonable.
