There are two main categories of review activities - quantitative analysis and qualitative analysis. For this Discussion Board, please complete the following: Differentiate between quantitative and qualitative types of analyses. What purposes do they serve, and why are they important? Provide two examples of quantitative analysis and two examples of qualitative analysis as they relate to documentation in the EHR. In providing your examples, include what the topic or subject matter is that you are analyzing and format an analysis question or indicator.

Example: Release of information requests received from other care providers will be completed within 48 hours of receipt.
