An airplane moves forward at a speed W1= 971 kph. The frontal intake area of the jet engine is A1 = 0.8 m2 and the entering air density is ρ1 = 0.736 kg/m3. A stationary observer determines that relative to earth, the jet exhaust gases move away from the engine with a speed o V2 =1050 kph. The engine exhaust area is A2 = 0.558 m2, and the exhaust air density is ρ2 = 0.515 kg/m3. Estimate the mass flow rate of fuel into the engine in kg/h.
