The Constitution guarantees Judicial independence by establishing separate and independent judiciary which is in charge of applying and interpreting the meaning of law. Guaranteeing a position life long to judge who examples good behavior and protection from impeachment. The judges, both of the supreme and inferior courts, shall hold their offices during good behavior, and shall, at stated times, receive for their services, a compensation, which shall not be diminished during their continuance in office. The Constitution also guarantees that judges are relatively free from political interference by providing them with lifetime tenure and a salary that cannot be reduced. I believe that the judges have sufficient independence to carry out their duties. This independence is not extreme, but rather substantial to guarantee that the judges act independently. The judiciary is not granted doctoral rights under the constitution. They only have the rights necessary to carry out their responsibilities effectively.
