Because potassium chloride is a common additive used in sterile compounding, you know that the concentration of potassium chloride is 2 mEq/mL. Having this familiarity with the medication, you wonder is you should still check the medication label to verify the concentration. Should you verify the medication's concentration? Why or why not?
