Question: The presence of trees is commonly used to describe a forest. However, the forest ecosystem is made up of many species, microorganisms, insects, and humans in addition to trees. Rain forests, temperate forests, boreal forests, and coniferous forests are the four types of forests. Forests produce a large array of wood products, electricity, and a huge number of jobs. They also aid in the separation, trapping, and retention of particle contaminants such as dust, pollen, and smoke that can harm human lungs, and are known as natural air purifiers. Trees absorb CO2 and other harmful gasses, replenishing the environment with oxygen. Photosynthesis produces food using carbon dioxide from the atmosphere, sunshine, and water. When native lands are lost due to urbanization, humans lose a crucial habitat. We are losing significant contributions that natural lands make to our economy and culture.
