Do you believe those who elect to cohabitate (living together, but not married) should be afforded the same legal rights and protections as those who are married? Do they have the same obligations as people who are married? Why or why not? Please be sure to use an example to clarify your position and remember, this is NOT part of the same-sex marriage debate. The purpose of this assignment is to examine the rights and privileges associated with non-marital living arrangements.
