That said, with the multiple threats to cities like Miami, New York and entire nations like China and the Netherlands from just one negative aspect of global warming, that of seal level rise, why do some remain in denial? Climate denialists, as they have been termed, couch their arguments that any attempt to attack the problem would cause massive economic hardship and furthermore be unfair to developing nations that depend on fossil fuels for power.
