You are senior members of a Turkey based mining company. Since past many years the profits have been declining in mining industry and Turkish economy is also not doing very good. The board of directors are thinking of diversifying into new markets in a different country. They have finally zeroed in on Norwegian Health industry as it is profitable and it is relatively easy to do business in Norway. However, the board faces two major delimmas related to culture and diversity.

Answer the following question in your presentation:

(A) Board of directors are not very sure of the culture and norms of Norway. Can you put a presentation together which will be delivered by your team to the Board of Directors? In this presentation, can you focus on:

(3) Where the Norway falls on Hofstede’s six dimensions ( as compared with Turkey )
