Dissertation Cybersecurity - PERFORMING THREAT HUNTING USING TaHiTI Method - a Threat Hunting Methodology

Proposing a methodology called TaHiTI for performing Threat hunting in an organisation. The main purpose of threat hunting is to reduce the time required to find the traces of attackers that have already compromised the IT environment and those are the traces which are not been spotted by the traditional tools and by finding these traces we are able to minimise the impact of the breach for the company.

- We are creating a Shell Script to check if all the Threat hunting tools are available or not for the hunt before performing.
- At last after threat hunting is performed, all the results found will be documented in the Threat Report which will be shared for future use.

These are the dissertation deliverables, it mentions that we have to perform threat hunting with the help of various tools and the Tahiti framework to show its effectiveness and standards. Just writing or any other theoretical work won't be sufficient here.
