The focal demographic for our study includes the patient population at UNC Rex Hospital, located in Raleigh, North Carolina. The hospital in question is crucial in providing healthcare services within the region and delivering diverse medical services. The primary objective of our study is to concentrate on individuals living in this community who currently use opioids or are susceptible to the misuse of opioids. Considering the esteemed standing and vast reach of the hospital, it serves as an appropriate platform to commence a project with the potential to impact a broader segment of society. Hence, we suggest implementing a comprehensive program focused on opioid education and prevention within the hospital.
