The textbook discusses the coding process. Many facilities have separate coding units for facility and professional coding. However, single path coding is becoming more popular as facility's look for ways to improve efficiency.Compare and contrast separate pathways for facility and professional coding to single path coding. Identify challenges and advantages for each approach.After reviewing the pathways and identifying the challenges, present what you believe to be the best solution for facilities to implement. There is no right or wrong answer necessarily as facilities have different and unique needs. Please note that technology may or may not be the best solution. Ensure you are capturing both technology and non-technology related solutions and present your recommendation as one comprehensive solution to implementing a single path coding system, or alternative system.
