Cindy is a 67-year-old female who arrives at the Emergency Department after falling while working in the garden with her wife. During her secondary survey she voices experiencing persistent stiffness in her muscles and tremors (even at rest) over the last few months, which contributed to her fall today. She has difficulty tying her shoes, fastening buttons and has tripped over her own feet multiple times. Her wife reports that Cindy is sleeping poorly and her mood has changed. Luckily, she has not experienced any serious injury from the fall today, however she voices feeling frustrated and worried about her symptoms. She is anxious about what this acute neurological workup may uncover. She is admitted to hospital and after diagnostic reviews and clinical examinations she is diagnosed with Parkinson's Disease- Braak stage 2.
