Assignment:

The first thing I thought about for this discussion was the stigmas associated with mental illness. It is so disheartening to see someones feelings not being seen as valid due to cultural or gender beliefs. Socioeconomic status is also a big influence because not only can someone have no access to healthcare, but there are many hard things that come along with being in a low tax bracket that add additional stress. Finally, spiritual beliefs can influence mental health because it can be seen as an escape, but can also view mental health as irrelevant. I am glad that some of these stigmas are changing and mental health is more openly discussed. How do I respond to someone who responded to my post?
