Purpose

This unit discussion is to help you illustrate basic understanding of the Object Oriented Programming environment.

Directions

Object-oriented programming is centered on the object. Objects are created from abstract data types that encapsulate data and functions together. This a new and difficult concept to learn. Lets start with the basics.

Write UML-Class Diagram for an object of your choice (you cannot use any of the examples from the textbook). You will not use pseudocode for this assignment.

Define the Class name
Define at least 5 fields
Define at least 5 methods

When you respond to your classmates in the discussion, give them suggestions on how they could correct or improve their diagram.

Save your Class Diagram in a file named ITP100Unit5LastName;

Post the file to the Unit5 - OOP-discussion board;

Respond to another student's discussion board posting. If you are the first student posting, you need to check the discussion board periodically and respond when another student posts to the discussion board.
