Discuss the current quality of life of the individuals listed below. How would you approach the situation if both individuals were friends seeking your advice? How would you "back up" your statements based on what we've learned?

1) Sally: I am 40 years old and divorced. I am finishing my Associates degree and have a B+ average. I work for an advertising agency and have just been selected for management training. Recently I learned that I have herpes and there is no cure.

2) PJ: I am 50 years old and single. I am a partner with an insurance agency. Over the last 10 years I have had numerous sexual partners. Five years ago I tested HIV+ but I haven't let that slow me down with my dating, etc. I believe that "you only live once" and I want to "get all that I can" before I die.
