Discuss the professional responsibilities of nurses in relation to your chosen issue with reference to a relevant code or standard. Reflect on how the university course you are enrolled in will prepare you with the capabilities to negotiate this issue as a nurse. In completing this task, you should: Give a brief overview of the issue have chosen to focus on. Pick one element or principle from either the: NMBA Standards for Practice, NMBA Code of Conduct ICN Code of Ethics. For example, in the Registered Nurse Standard for Practice, 'Actively engages with the profession' (3.6) is one element. Reflect on your own educational development (and/or anticipated development) and how this will prepare you to manage this issue (or similar) in in relation to the chosen code/standard.
