Write a 1-2 page reflection paper answering the following: According to role theory, there are positive connections between an individual and his/her environment when there is consensus, clarity, and complementarity of roles. However, stress occurs when negative connections exist and an individual has difficulty complying with role expectations; this is referred to as role strain. Consider your personal experiences with stress related to fulfilling multiple roles and identify at least one type of role strain. How did you manage the related stress? What worked well and what did not? In the future, how might you manage it differently to promote positive self care?
