What is its primary services or business? Tell us about the industry and its competition. What is the organizational mission or purpose of the organization that you selected? How could you characterize the organizational culture? What are the primary strategic objectives or long range plans for the company?

In your opinion, how well is the company or organization's present strategy gonig? What are the strengths, opportunities, weaknesses, and threats (SWOT) of the organization? Problem 3. List and describe four current sociocultural trends in the U.S. that are transforming North America and the world.

Problem 4. Define a value chain and the significance of the center of gravity. Please also give an example of a value chain from your place of work or from a company that you have researched.

Problem 5. What are the principal differences between a multidivisional structure and a functional structure? Why does an organization change from a functional to a multidivisional structure?
