Nursing questions; examine the following questions carefully and answer them with elaborate discussion;
Case study; Heyman has conducted a study of Swedish nursing and caring research across 65 doctoral theses written by nurses from 1974-1991. She found that the researchers had been inspired by different sciences, belonging to at least one of the two divergent traditions, either biomedical research or the social sciences. The study indicates heterogeneity in theoretical conditions, methodologies, rationales and structures across the PhD theses studied. Yarcheski, Mahon, and Yarcheski (2012) concluded, in a study of research published in scientific nursing journals, that there was a trend towards less theoretically oriented research and that "the study of psychological variables has dominated the last 20 years (1990-2010) of nursing research" (p. 1,120). In addition, Yarcheski and Mahon (2013) concluded, in a study of characteristics of quantitative nursing research between 1990-2010, that while quantitative nursing research in general could be defined as multidisciplinary, the discipline of psychology dominated throughout the research literature
1. The HIPAA privacy promotes several ideals that pertain to personhood which are?
2. Explain the various public views on the issue privacy of health information in America;
3. What could be a discussion towards the patients attitude concerning privacy in the field of health research?
4. What are some examples of phenotypical characteristics that present two or more varieties and of phenotypical features that do not vary? In relation to the genes corresponding to those characteristics, which vary among individuals, what can be expected regarding their alleles?
5. Considering a pair of homologous chromosomes containing a gene with two different alleles, how many different genotypes can that individual present?
6. For an individual with a genotype formed of two different alleles that condition different varieties of the same phenotypical trait, what does the phenotypical feature actually manifested depend on?
7. What is the difference between a dominant allele and a recessive allele?
8. Whenever a pair of alleles contains different alleles, is there dominance between them?
9. What is the difference between homozygosity and heterozygosity?
10. Why can a recessive allele remain hidden in the phenotype of an individual and only be revealed when manifested via homozygosity in its offspring?
