Her doctor recommended a colonoscopy which came back negative for colorectal cancer. Although relieved, Emily is concerned about her frequent episodes of diarrhea followed by several days of constipation. She frequently suffers from abdominal pain, gas, and cramps. Many days she does not feel like eating. As Emily shares her history with you, she asks you for non- pharmacological (managing symptoms and pain without medication) interventions for her symptoms.
