Critical Infrastructures
Scenario
You are a member of the CIRRUS Division and have been tasked with developing a tutorial for a DHS-wide Critical Infrastructure Awareness Conference. Your project should educate the DHS workforce about one or more of the 16 Critical Infrastructure sectors and demonstrate significant research, critical thinking, and in-depth analysis.
When discussing communication systems, infrastructure resilience, or interconnected systems, you may refer to concepts from Data Communication and Networking where appropriate.
Task
Develop and submit a tutorial in one of the following formats:
MS Word Research Paper
PowerPoint Presentation (with detailed speaker notes)
Topic
Choose one or more of the 16 Critical Infrastructure sectors, or take an integrated cross-sector approach. Your project should focus on a specific issue, challenge, problem, vulnerability, resilience, recovery, or other significant aspect of critical infrastructure rather than providing only a general overview.
Projects involving planning, coordination, and implementation strategies may also benefit from concepts related to Project Management and Planning.

Your submission should include:
In-depth discussions and analyses aligned with your outline.
Significant research supporting your analysis.
