You work for Family Care Health Center a non-for-profit organization that specializes in the provision of elderly care and specialized care services for people with exceptional needs in the GTA. It's the company's policy and culture to review its human resources needs every 2-3 years and make projections of how many people will be needed, in which positions, when and where they will be sourced. These projections are based on the company's 3 years strategic plan.
The HR Manager along with three other managers in Marketing, Community Services, Finance and Accounting have just completed this year's human resources planning project. The results indicate that the health Center is expanding and will be hiring 15 more people to help achieve this strategic plan in the next 3 months to 2 years.
The HR manager yesterday called an HR team meeting to update every one of what is going on and what is expected.
