Assignment -
In addition to turning in your iSite journal entry as usual, a short paper with emphasis on writing in a scientific format, properly acknowledging resources, and an overview of the process of thermoregulation is the focus of this week's assignment. A rubric has been included to describe the grading criteria. The paper will be a page or two, and the length will be determined by how efficiently you are able to include the items outlined in the rubric.
There are three readings for this week and each describes aspects of thermoregulation in nature. You will be required to create a summary of these that focuses on thermoregulation. Within your paper, you must include content from each of the readings that substantiates your summary. Each of these references will need to be properly cited per the APA style within the paper and included in a reference list. A link to the Purdue Owl with information on the APA style is included in the tabs on the left in Blackboard.
How can we learn from nature? While reading the material for Week 5, keep biomimicry in mind. In your paper include an example of how human design could emulate nature and utilize thermoregulation strategies.
