Q1) Owner of Britten's Egg Farm wishes to evaluate the mean number of eggs laid per chicken. Sample of 20 chickens illustrates they laid the average of 20 eggs per month with standard deviation of 2 eggs per month.

i) Determine the value of population mean? What is the best evaluate of this value?

ii) Describe why we require to use the t distribution. What supposition do you require to make?

iii) For a 95 percent of confidence interval. Determine the value of t?

iv) Create the 95 percent confidence interval for population mean.

v) Would it be sensible to conclude that population mean is 21 eggs? What about 25 eggs?
