Question 1: Use xcorr to calculate normalized cross-correlation between x[k] and y[k]. Use x[k] as reference sequence. (You CANNOT simply use xcorr to get normalized cross-correlation. You need to do some extra calculation.)

Question 2: Generate two normalized cross-correlation plots. The first one's x-axis unit is sample and the second one's x-axis unit is second. You are NOT allowed to use x-axis created by Matlab's xcorr command. You will need to create the axis yourself.

(Note 1) The center index of cross-correlation created by Matlab is always zero.
(Note 2) To generate correct time-axis, you need to take (i) the starting point index and (ii) the sampling frequency into account.

Question 3: From your second plot, visually determine the amount of delay each path experiences. Assume the speed of sound is 343 m/s, determine the distance of each object creating echo. Include these numbers in your report.
