Assume the ledge has the dimensions shown and is attached to the building with a series of equally spaved pins around the circumference of the building. Design the pins so that the ledge can support Doug and Jeremy and eight others on each side of the building. Assume each person weighs 200 lbs.

Pin properties: Ultimate shear strength = 100 lb/in^2

Ledge properties: Ultimate shear strength = 200 lb/in^2

Ultimate bearing strength = 300 lb/in^2

Density = 300 lb/ft^3
