Cudahy, California became incorporated in 1960 named for its founder, meat-packing baron Michael Cudahy. Currently, nearly 42% of Cudahy's population is between the ages of 25 and 54, with an additional 43.4% being 24 or younger. In Cudahy, just 7% of people are 65 years of age or older, which is retirement age. The comparison jurisdictions reported that 40% of their residents are either high school graduates or younger on average.
