Population-focused nursing centers on the care of vulnerable populations (low-income families in Cudahy, California).

The City of Cudahy, California houses approximately a population of 5,737, according to the US Census Community Survey and data from ERSI Business Analysts and measuring only 1.226 square miles (3.175 km²). Compared to its neighboring cities: South Gate (the 19th largest city in LA County) population of 92,726 and measuring 7.4 square miles (19 km2) or Huntington Park (population of 54,883 and measuring 3.0 square miles (7.8 km2). Cudahy, California became incorporated in 1960 named for its founder, meat-packing baron Michael Cudahy. Currently, nearly 42% of Cudahy's population is between the ages of 25 and 54, with an additional 43.4% being 24 or younger. In Cudahy, just 7% of people are 65 years of age or older, which is retirement age. The comparison jurisdictions reported that 40% of their residents are either high school graduates or younger on average.
