Background information for creating the training plan
Enhancing employees' knowledge through training and development is crucial in today's marketplace. Employees who receive training will improve their skills, gain knowledge, and perform their daily work more effectively and efficiently. In turn, those employees tend to stay engaged, remain motivated, improve performance, and help the organization stay competitive. Implementing the proper strategy for employee learning is often challenging for most organizations.
There are two important parts to this project. Part A closely examines the context of a training initiative. Part B requires that you produce a PowerPoint training template that meets training standards.
The written explanation of the training plan
Part A is a five-page paper that addresses key components of a training program.
In your paper,
1. Describe the strategic value of a comprehensive training program.
2. Describe the process for determining training needs.

Review Chapter 8, Section 2: Training Delivery. Determining the type of training critical to the success or failure of the training intent.
Consider this PowerPoint as a training presentation for a client describing the various types of training available. Use the training topic you chose in your Group Critique discussion forum in Week 2 as the foundation for the training needed.
In your presentation,
1. Explain training and development from an organizational perspective.
2. Select four of the eight training options that could apply to your training topic.
3. Describe each of the training options.
4. Compare each training option for use with your training topic.
5. Propose the training option that best fits the training needs for the topic and the organization.
