She is Full code, admitted for deep vein thrombosis in her right leg and has pulmonary embolism; is on heparin drip, bed rest but doctor said she can get up on bed side commode , sac status, history of diabetes type 1; 45 gram carbohydrate counting diet, CBG AC and HS. Draw ptt on 10.
Room 3
DNR and do not announce status, got out of a abusive relationship; also homeless for a while and does not want family friends or anyone else finding him. He is here for cellulitis in his right forearm and looks pretty bad the doctor said he may have to cut it open later . NPO; he has a foley and has oxygen on at 6L with a simple mask; they think cellulitis is going septic. He is allowed to be up in a chair but need at least 2 to help him up because he is dizzy and unstable .Has a History. Is HIV positive; uses IV drugs, alcoholic and yesterday have to be in restraints but removed it and monitor CIWA protocol.
Room 4
Full code, up with assist x1, good by himself,f bedside commode, here for C-diff, type 1 diabetes , right below the knee amputation from type 1 diabetes, complete kidney failure, dialysis TTS, fistula in left forearm , renal diet, 2L fluid restriction, CBGs before meal and bedtime.

The elderly lady, total hip replacement three days ago, daughter is going to pick her up, Alzheimer's in and out but is pleasant, up with assist, prescribed to walk 3x the hall with her walker, regular diet, have incentive spirometer, and SCDs to prevent blood clot . Vital signs Q shift, Have COPD for 30 years, uses oxygen at home, but in hospital uses it here 1 and ½ liters NC., allergic to strawberries and lactose intolerant.
