Arina, a final year student for Bachelor in Islamic Finance, is interested to make an exploration on Islamic asset management and investment. While doing her literature review, she came across a paper written in the Journal of Islamic Accounting and Business Research, for which she thinks is quite relatable to the area that she is trying to do research on. An excerpt from the said research article is described as follows:

"The objective of this paper is to analyze whether risks and returns of shipping under the framework of Islamic equity finance would bring impact on the performance of investing in containerships over the long term, to appeal to retail and institutional clients of Malaysian asset management institutions. Accordingly, the methodology adopts an investment analysis using capital asset pricing model (CAPM) of a full population of historical data over a period of 20 years, to evaluate the change of performance as being affected to internal rate of return, maritime return on interest and net income yield."
