Assignment:

You have been hired as an HR consultant for a law firm. The Chief Human Resource Office is concerned that the law firm is losing its competitive advantage and would like to determine what internal issues are at the core of the current decline. Therefore, the law firm has hired your consulting company to provide an analysis of the internal health of the organization within a competency model.

You are tasked with conducting a core competency analysis to identify critical competencies, align competency development with the business goals, and list the challenges and benefits of competency management. You will be presenting your findings and recommendations to the HR representative and other stakeholders at the law firm.
