Describe what is essential for creating a family centered intervention plan. How might the audiologist handle the following situations:

1. A family member who has a lot of underlying health issues and tends to dominate the audiologist patient's appointment by discussing their own health problems.

2. A very supportive family member who has done their research and informs the audiologist they know exactly what the patient needs.
