Hello Class, The concept of justice is to treat each individual fair or equally. Their behavior and how they act and treat others is their consequences they deserves. If you go out there and commit a crime you will be treated and get the sentence you deserve. Everyone should be treated equally unless they committ a crime to be treated different. Utilitarians think that we should do good deeds and be happy. It connects to the law to do the right thing and be productive. Libertarian approach to justice is for an individual that did a crime like killed someone should go to court and held accountable for their wrong doing. And if the wrong doing is not bad as a crime such as someone accusing another person for doing wrong, should be handled outside of the court system. Libertarian feels people should have more control and choices about their own lives.
